I had a great time doing an internship at Bruhaspathi Institute of Biosciences under the guidance of Dr. Neelima Chitturi. It was a really good learning experience where I got hands-on training in development of a variant identification pipeline. I did the internship from home as they provided a server. I especially enjoyed working with tools like FastQC, BWA, GATK, and VEP. Neelima ma'am was very supportive and explained things clearly whenever I had doubts. I'm thankful for her guidance and the opportunity to be part of this program.

I am happy to share that I have successfully completed my 6-week internship at Bruhaspathi Institute of Biosciences, Hyderabad. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Dr. Neelima Chitturi Ma’am for her unwavering guidance and support throughout my journey at the institute. Her insights and encouragement were instrumental in helping me grow both technically and professionally. This internship has not only sharpened my technical skills but has also deepened my passion for research in genomics, pharmacogenomics, and computational biology. I would like to sincerely thank you and the entire Brushapati Institute of Biosciences for conducting such an informative and well-organized workshop on Variant Identification and 16S rRNA analysis. I truly enjoyed the sessions and found them extremely beneficial. Both pipelines were taught in a very structured and easy-to-understand manner, and the hands-on training made it even more valuable. The mentor was very friendly, patient, and always ready to clarify even the smallest doubts, which made the learning experience smooth and enjoyable. This workshop has definitely strengthened my understanding of bioinformatics tools and techniques, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to gain practical skills in this field.
